Formed in 1997 by two brothers and their friends, North Carolina's Bloodjinn began under the name of Social Phobia. Social Phobia would spend two years playing shows with numerous high-profile acts, such as Stuck Mojo, Hatebreed, Turmoil, and Candiria. The band would experience a slight personnel change, and reform under the name of Bloodjinn. With a new line-up and determination, the band hit the studio in late-1999, recording its debut full-length, 'To Bleed the Demon,' for Flatline Records. The record began to catch the attention of reviewers and listeners alike, leading to its partnership with North Carolina's Tribunal Records. 2000 would mark the Bloodjinn's second full-length, 'Murder Eternal.' Since then, the band has moved on to Goodfellow Recordings, releasing their Goodfellow debut in May of 2002. Mixing hardcore, black/European metal, and mosh, Bloodjinn should appeal to fans of new-school metal-influenced hardcore. hide
